A fantastic stallion for performance-oriented breeding
Double Dutch, bred by Laurens van Lieren, fits Stal Hexagon’s philosophy completely. He is an incredible athlete, with a heart of gold. His sire is Johnson, the awesome mover by Jazz out of the strong Reina-bloodline. Apart from his movement and build, Johnson also passes on a very good temperament, one of the absolute musts for the Hexagon Stud.
One of the best damlines in the Netherlands
Double Dutch’s dam is Ushimanda, a full-sister of Hexagon’s Roumanda (Rubiquil x Matador II x Sultan x Doruto) who competed at international Grand Prix-level. Both the granddam and great-granddam were also successful at the highest level: the Grand Prix. This Manda-bloodline has for many years been one of the very best bloodlines in the Netherlands, according to the KWPN index.
There are therefore a remarkable number of performance genes from both from the sire’s side and the dam’s side combined in Double Dutch who, himself, has already redeemed this promise through international victories at Grand Prix-level!
Hexagon’s Double Dutch is available via fresh semen. For covering by Double Dutch, a pregnancy arrangement can be taken out. The fixed fee is €250, when in foal a further €1,000 must be paid. The total fee is €1,250. The delivery costs of the semen are €30.
